Indonesian contractor Tunas Jaya Persada has deployed 25 Volvo New Generation EC210 excavators to support land clearing and soil preparation at a plantation project in Sorong. The machines, supplied by PT Indotruck Utama, are helping boost productivity, reduce fuel costs, and keep operations running smoothly in a remote and challenging environment.
Tunas Jaya Persada CV, a leading Indonesian contractor, has strengthened its role in a plantation project in Sorong, with a huge purchase of 25 New Generation EC210 Excavators. The machines, first launched in Indonesia in March 2025 and supplied by PT Indotruck Utama (ITU), the official dealer of Volvo Construction Equipment in Indonesia, are being used for extensive land clearing and soil preparation in challenging, remote terrain.
Trusted for this major plantation project, the New Generation EC210 Excavators combine strong digging performance, excellent fuel efficiency, and simplified maintenance. The machine’s advanced hydraulic system and reliable components make it well-suited for demanding, continuous operations in locations like Sorong, where machine uptime is critical.
