Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison has launched Zankore by Indosat in collaboration with Ooredoo Group, Nokia, and NVIDIA to deploy up to 1 gigawatt of AI infrastructure capacity. Built on the NVIDIA DSX AI Factory architecture with Nokia AI-native networking, the platform provides scalable computing to accelerate enterprise and agentic AI adoption across the Asia-Pacific region.

Context of the Cooperation
As artificial intelligence adoption reshapes global industries, demand for secure, high-performance, and scalable AI computing across the Asia-Pacific region is expanding rapidly. Establishing large-scale compute infrastructure requires combining accelerated hardware, specialized power management, high-throughput data center networking, and extensive capital deployment.

To address these regional computing requirements and advance Indonesia’s positioning as a regional AI hub, cooperation was established between telecommunications operators and technology providers. The initiative brings together Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Ooredoo Group, NVIDIA, and Nokia to construct a full-stack AI infrastructure platform designed to serve hyperscalers, enterprise operations, public sector entities, and AI innovators.

Technical Solution and Responsibilities
The technical solution centers on Zankore by Indosat, an AI factory platform architected around the NVIDIA DSX reference design, which unifies accelerated computing, data center networking, power distribution, cooling, and operational management into a single system. Responsibilities are allocated among the participating partners based on their core technical and operational domains:
  • Ooredoo Group acts as the lead investor and platform sponsor, providing long-term capital and regional scale.
  • Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison supplies the domestic digital infrastructure, market access, and local execution capabilities in Indonesia.
  • NVIDIA powers the platform with its accelerated computing hardware, AI software stack, next-generation GPU access, and global AI ecosystem.
  • Nokia delivers AI-native networking infrastructure to enable secure, high-throughput connectivity across the compute environment.
At a system level, the platform utilizes NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 computing systems alongside NVIDIA DSX MaxLPS software. The MaxLPS technology dynamically manages power distribution across the GPU fleet to recover stranded power, enabling up to 40 percent more compute capacity within the facility's existing power budget envelope. To oversee strategic operations and governance, Zankore has established a Board of Directors featuring Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo and Thomas Chevanne from Ooredoo Group, Vikram Sinha and Vishal Gupta from Indosat, and Independent Director Arijit Ranjan Sarker, with Ulf Ewaldsson appointed as Chief Executive Officer.

Deployment or Implementation
The implementation strategy targets an ultimate platform capacity of 1 gigawatt of NVIDIA DSX AI Factory infrastructure across Southeast Asia. The initial operational deployment phase is scheduled to deliver approximately 200 megawatts of AI compute capacity in the first half of 2027.

The platform is designed for direct integration with enterprise workflows, sovereign cloud frameworks, and hyperscale environments. The phased rollout will establish localized, high-density compute clusters in Indonesia before expanding infrastructure access across the broader Asia-Pacific market to support mission-critical AI workloads.
